Julia Goker is the founder of Julia’s Cottage. As a California Certified Physical Therapist, she brings her experience as a health care professional to your loved ones as their needs change.

Her lifelong interest in helping patients restore their quality of life helped lead her to successfully establishing and personally managing her homes. Julia takes pride in giving the tailored care your loved one needs and is dedicated to being there every step of the way

Stuart is Julia’s son in law and has moved to San Diego with his wife and two young children from South Africa. He has twenty years’ commercial experience in the healthcare industry in South Africa and international markets having managed various businesses in medical technology for global companies - Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic Inc. While on family holidays he spent hours at Julia’s homes, experiencing first-hand the difference the caring environment made to both residents and their families. This exposure gave him the motivation and purpose to open his own residential care home to provide dignified care for the elderly.

All onsite staff are trained and certified according to the California State Requirements. All cottage employees renew their certifications according to regulations to ensure the utmost safety and care is guaranteed.
